Jason Lewandowski is a third-year student in Florida State University’s new Intelligence Studies major and works for the Emergency Management and Homeland Security Program as the Unmanned Aircraft Systems Team’s Logistics Support. As part of the UAS team he assists in football game day public-safety operations through aircraft readiness and logistics, and UAS flight operations.
Jason is also a member of the Disaster Incident Analysis Laboratory (DIAL) at Florida State University. In this role, he gathers and analyzes open source intelligence in support of multiple stakeholders across Florida, the US, and abroad. Jason holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Sociology from the State University of New York at Buffalo, and previously worked as a discharge planner and social worker at rehab/long-term care facilities.
