Dr. Dilling is a Teaching Professor in the Emergency Management and Homeland Security Program at Florida State University. The original founder of our Program, she served as the Director of the EMHS Program and FSU’s Center for Disaster Risk Policy for over ten years. Before coming to FSU, she was an Emergency Management practitioner for the military, local, and state government. Dr. Dilling is past President of the American Society of Professional Emergency Planners and has served on numerous state, national, and international advisory boards and committees. She has been a consultant or speaker in over 40 countries in the field of disaster management.
